California Construction - "Best of 2009"
Indian Wells Golf Resort won the top award in Southern California in the Sports/Recreation category from California Construction magazine in its “Best of 2009” awards competition. The $39-million IW Golf Club, the clubhouse for the Indian Wells Golf Resort, won the top award in Southern California in the Sports/Recreation category. The statewide competition annually recognizes construction and design excellence in Northern and Southern California.
The IW Golf Club was constructed for the City of Indian Wells by Barnhart Balfour Beatty and the lead design firm was Douglas Fredrikson Architects of Phoenix.
In addition to honors from California Construction, Barnhart Balfour Beatty has received numerous awards for the project including:

- 2008 Commercial Project of the Year - Masonry Construction Magazine
