Responsibilities

  • Monitor accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts
  • Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt either collect the overdue amount or negotiate a payment plan and collect installments
  • Record and document all conversations and correspondence with customers in applicable systems
  • Maintain records of contacts for all customers. Reach out to new customers and gather all required information to assure their account is set up correctly
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing
  • Calculate monthly AR Allowance
  • Respond timely to all credit emails, pull credit report from Credit Safe or other credit report provider, ability to make credit decisions solely without approval up to 1/3 of suggested credit limit
  • Complete all credit applications for all companies
  • Complete all ACH forms requested by customers to receive ACH payments
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Associates degree from four-year college or university (or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of McLeod and Intuit QuickBooks is preferred
  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking a must
  • Dependable, reliable and self-motivated
  • Strong work ethic
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
