Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and develop new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and email campaigns
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan in alignment with the company’s target market and business segments
  • Conduct research to identify potential clients and their needs and present our services to them
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, provide excellent customer service, and ensure their satisfaction with our products or services
  • Identify key decision makers and develop new business opportunities through a consultative approach to deliver value-added solutions to their current logistics and supply chain needs
  • Negotiate and close opportunities and prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales strategies and campaigns
  • Work with divisional specialists in the operations group to develop pricing strategies and determine capacity
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new sales opportunities
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management and achieve sales targets
  • Overcome objections with effective sales techniques to uncover business needs and negotiate solutions
  • Deliver tactical and strategic results by providing excellent service and meeting personal performance objectives
  • Other duties as assigned
  • This Position travels 2-3 weeks each month throughout your assigned territory

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and techniques
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • A customer-focused mindset and a passion for sales
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Passport and/or TWIC preferred
