Responsibilities

• Analyze industry rates so the company is competitive in pricing
• Analyze costs associated with transportation (shipping, permits, fuel, etc) to ensure quotes are profitable
• Collaborate with operations on routes prior to quoting
• Negotiate contract prices
• Monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies to ensure they are creating revenue
• Effectively communicate pricing strategies with team members and management
• Stay up-to-date on regulations and compliance requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in pricing analysis or related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
• Knowledge of McLeod and Intuit Quickbooks preferred
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Operating a computer and other office equipment
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
